Red Clover

 Main characteristics:

  • Ideal seeding season: autumn.
  • Used in poorly permeable soils where alfalfa does not grow.
  • Trifoliate leaves with smooth edges. Upright bearing. Violetish flowers.
  • Associations: Fescue, rescue grass, ryegrass.
  • Requires high levels of soil humidity and is a great nitrogen-fixing variety.
DM PRODUCTION: 6,000 – 7,000 kg/Dm/ha/year
DENSITY Association: 3 – 4 kg/ha. Pure: 6 kg/ha
SOILS Loam to clay loam. Fertile
